A great review but I don’t think this book is for me. Although the characters sparked my interest a bit. Congrats on the BOTD. Mystery and crime are my fancy - I added to my bookshelf just in case .

I'm not much into art history. But the plot sounds interesting. I've seen a few movies based on the same plotline. It's a good thing this book is a standalone even though it's the second in the series.

This is an interesting is a mystery thriller highlighting the pillaging of the Baghdad Museum during the U.S. invasion in 2003. The book has a free sample on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats @oconnormallm_m on the BOTD selection.

I don't read many mysteries, but I can understand how a lack of tension and 'peril' could be a negative factor. I like that the author has thrown in an element of romance. I also love the psychic angle, as that is something I'm interested in. I might just check this one out. Thanks for the recommendation!

Art, espionage, supernatural and romance seems to be quite an intriguing plot. I wonder what happened to the artifacts. Congratulations on the BOTD.

This book seems interesting and the review is well-written. I will pass this book since I am not interested in art history but am curious to know if the relics are found. Congrats BOTD!

Romance, mystery, artefacts and the supernatural, some of the topics that interest me, seem to be subsumed into this novel. I would love to read the first instalment as well as this one. Thanks for the valuable insights in your review.

Art is always considered precious and it's obvious to hear that it was mysteriously stolen. However, this is not what I would enjoy reading. Great review though.

A thrilling read on stolen artifacts that incorporates a bit of history on arts. This is a book that I would enjoy with the intriguing premise and elements of art, romance, supernatural, and espionage. Thank you for a convincing review.

Finally, the story has just enough plot twists and turns (including a surprise ending) to keep you turning the page to find out what happens next. I want to read other books by this author. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you to the author.
