The book We are Voulhire:A New arrival under great skies by Mathew Tsyk is a series that centers around Voulhire, a kingdom of eight great cities of ; Virko, Soulhire, Yamon Soul, Magnum Caelum, Ballarhal, Gallador, Chalethire and Iseron with Soulhire as the capital city. In this serie, Lord Orlin of Hillport was arrested, charged and held of undisclosed perversion. However, about a week later, angry mob storm the jail he was held when evidence came to bear that he had been a pedophile. Lord Orlin was dragged out, his body defiled and burned in a shallow pit by the angry mob and his body denied into his family crypt. After the death of Lord Orlin, general Meldorath was appointed by the king Wilhelm as the new lord of Hillport and served for barely three months before he was also arrested on the order of King Wilhelm and taken away by the commander alongside the eastern army. However, in the city of Magnum Caelum, a young man named Galen had escaped from the "land of princes" to inherit his uncle's (Galen Onita) property with the help and assistance of an executor name Rowan.

I like the story essentially because of the way the author switches amongst the "Galen", "King Wilhelm", "Lord Meldorath" and "Lord Eldus". Furthermore, I like the way the author carefully narrate the features of each city in Voulhire which no doubt will give every reader of this book an idea of the strength and weakness these cities have against one another. I need not talk about the suspense and intrigues surrounding Lord Meldorath's where about and the suspicion raised by mayor Malcolm about Rowan the executor which got me glue to the book till the end and apparently cannot wait for the next series of this interesting book to be published by the Mathew Tysk.

However, some of the words used by the author in the book are not so familiar; hence, i have to repeatedly go the glossary at the end of the book to view the meaning of these words as used by the author. This at a time made by reading a bit slow, tiring and uninteresting.

Consequently, I will rate this book 4 out of 4 stars for it was professionally edited with little or no error in spelling of words and sentence construction.

I would therefore recommend We are Voulhire: A new Arrival under Great Skies by Mathew Tysk to lovers of fantasy and adventure books.

I also read this book and rated it 4 out if 4 stars. Rowan provided a lot of humor for me and Meldorath's scenes were always very suspenseful and intriguing. Nice review.

I've seen a few reviews of this series, and most of them have nothing but positive things to say. I'll have to try this book out. Thanks for the review!

The glossary did help with a lot of the unfamiliar words. I enjoyed the book, too. Nice review!
