The book "Rescued" written by E. Alan Fleischauer is a book of friendship, love, adventure, romance and action. John Thurgood Thomas, also known as JT, the hero of the story rescues some kidnapped women, on the way to get them safe the story unravels. His journey from Colorado to New York was quite an adventure with twist plots, falling in love, making good friends, finding treasure, getting into action sequences, some murders, revealing JT's past life, helping people, happening of unfortunate things. Throughout the story, JT proves to be a 'good egg' as his mother always used to say.

My favorite thing about this book is the interesting story plot. There were many characters kept on arising with each chapter. The author E. Alan Fleischauer not only focuses on protagonists and antagonists, but also gives every small character an opportunity to be important and contribute a significant role for the story. Not being a native speaker of English, I have learned polite way of approaches and conversations through the author's style of writing. I am glad to learn some western phrases like "From your mouth to god's ears" from the book.

I did not dislike anything about this book. At the beginning of the story, it was difficult for me to understand some terms, as it is the first cowboy fiction book that I read. But eventually it got easier for me.

I rate "Rescued" by E. Alan Fleischauer 4 out of 4 stars because from start to end the story held my attention, without letting boredom hit even in a small section of the book. I could not find more than two errors which are just typos, so I would come to the conclusion that this book is professionally proofread and edited. There is no sexual content. Also there are only a few borderline profanity that came to my notice while reading the book.

I would recommend this book for people who love to read cowboy stories. Apart from that, I would also recommend this book for people who love adventure. Since the book has action scenes and murder scenes, I suggest children and sensitive people should consider second thought on this book. Otherwise, this book would be a great treat for the ones who love action sequences.

After completely reading the book "Rescued", I really felt like I can read E. Alan Fleischauer's other books specifically for his style of writing.

It’s great that the characters are well developed. As for the plot, I think it has film potential.
