This sounds like a very unusual plot that can be read on its own or as part of a series. In either case, it promises a captivating and entertaining read. Congratulations to the author.

I hope Thomas and Kat could work things out in their marriage. Since I haven't read the first book, I don't think I'll be enjoying this one. Interesting review, though.

This certainly appears to be an interesting book, with an amalgamation of many different genres. I'm not much for beginning a book that is a part of a series, but I think I just may go back and take a look at the first in the series, which, if my memory serves me correctly, I had planned to read. Congratulations to Ms. Hancock on her achievement and for receiving BOTD honors.

I'd like to read the author's worldbuilding about the fictional planet of Domum-Orbis, and his humans were treated there.

The sample pages were very interesting, and this seems like a well-written sci-fi/romance/suspense tale. These are not my genres of choice, but I appreciate the storyline. Thank you for a wonderful review!

This book sounds like a unique plot line and a unique mixture of many genres. I do not think that I have ever come across a book that featured science fiction and an Elizabethan time period. I like that the author made sure that each of her books was a complete story in itself, but still kept the readers informed about what had happened in the previous book to continue the series.

I won't find reading to find out how Thomas and Kat became an item and how Andrey is threatening that.

This sounds like a truly robust storyline following the first book in the series. I'm not much of a sci-fi lover but I'm curious about Tom and Kat. How do they pull through the seeds of discord threatening to hew their marriage apart? It should be an enlightening read, thanks for the review.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting science fiction story about what happens to the characters of the first installment that are now facing challenges such as discrimination and segregation of humans and the difficulties it produces for the main characters' love. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

It sounds like an interesting series to say the least. I am not one who starts a series in the middle so I will venture back to the first book.
