I remember the first book: Surviving Antsey, there's always trauma following such horrible events. I hope that Thomas and Kat overcome the challenges in this book.

Thank you for your review. As you said that this book is standalone, but I would like to read the previous book as it seems interesting.

Very interesting. Although I have to say when it comes to this book viewers' discretion is advised as there are some vulgarities and erotic content in there. However, this book still catches my attention with its very well-created thriller plot. It also has a nice book cover design. Great work by the author. Congratulations on the book of the day.

The mix of history, sci-fi and romance with suspense and twists in the narrative this book seems to be interesting. Although it is the second in the series, the author has done well to make this one a standalone book. It seems to be well written and I might read it some time.

The story seems interesting with all the twists and turns, however I'm not a fan of the time period it's set in. I think reading a book set in Elizabethan period will be a bit hard for me. Congratulations on making book of the day!

Thanks for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Sci/fi and fantasy just aren't genres I choose to read usually. So many characters often confuse me too, so I'll pass on this one.

Although I love stories set in Elizabethan times, the sex scenes in this one don't quite work for me. It's great that the book is well written and edited, thanks for a great review!

I enjoy reading sci-fi and romance with some thrill and suspense that keep us at edge and make us continue reading to know what happened next . So, judging by the reviews it shows that the author has written this in a reaaly remarkable way and I am looking forward to read this book.

This is a second book in a trilogy that can also be read as a standalone novel. The story follows a married couple, Thomas and Kat, as they grapple with their own traumas while keeping their relationship intact.

The book seems intriguing. I love romance novels, but with a twist of sci-fi, it seems to be more enjoyable. And as the reviewer said, the plots kept him getting more and more excited. I’d give it a try. Thanks for the review.

This does seem like a book that spans a number of genres and has something for everyone. I would like to read this one, but not before I read the first one in the series. Thanks for the awesome review!

Anstey's Revenge: Will Love be Enough? by Susan Hancock is the second book in a trilogy, Anstey's Kingdom, that expertly ties elements of history with sci-fi, romance, and suspense to produce a captivating read that is bound to keep you at the edge of your seat.

The characters, after the fight of their lives led by Thomas Alban and Kat Wrenn-Alban, have just gotten rid of Anstey, who enslaved them and executed all kinds of horrors on them. Now that they are free, they can just live happily ever after, right? Things are not even close to that, as there is still the fear that Anstey and his enforcers are out there plotting his return. There are issues surrounding the strict laws governing the central characters who came from a futuristic planet, Domum-Orbis, and the consequent segregation of humans due to the enmity between themselves and humans. Also, the trauma faced by Thomas at the hands of Anstey presents a stern test for his love for Kat. Amidst all these worries and threats, will love be enough?

Looks like Susan Hancock has another winning book. The tie-ins with history, sci-fi, romance and suspense keep the reader on the edge of their seat. I enjoyed the sample and look forward to reading the entire book. Very good official review.
