Refusing to take in refugees under the guise of preventing war is simply cowardice and lack of humanity.
If we lose our humanity, then there is no 'self' left to preserve.

Well said! An endless war dragging on for ages had already made the innocent citizens of the Land of the Princes hopeless. Not many manage to escape.
Not accepting refugees, indeed is an act of cowardice. For above all, humanity is what is needed in a society. Everything else comes under it.

urgent need of those refugees in accommodating
them, give them a decent living where their lives
could be secured, and also live to their full
potential. And of which at the long run the
refugees could latter turn to the resources for
Voulhire to gain more powers, wealth and
fully actualizes it's potentials.

Self - preservation matters more because the Emperor of Lullabies would not have attacked Voulhire if King Wilhelm wasn't willing to help the refugees from the Land of the Princes.

Initially, Sophie Shore had my support. But after the invasion of the Emperor's frightening armies in Voulhire, I think that such casualty in Soulhire could have been prevented if the existence of the wicked and powerful Emperor was considered much more by the king.
