This subject is interesting and I think that genetic engineering should only be used for the good of humanity. Thanks for your review.

The story seems intriguing, as I have always wondered if there is some truth to any of those conspiracy theories about some celebrities and prominent personalities being cloned. Maybe there is, but who knows? Thanks for the great review.

Vitro fertilization and cloning are such controversial topics that will make this book very interesting and informative. Nicely written review. You have captured the book wonderfully.

The book "The new Eugenics" by Conrad B. Quintyn, Ph.D. is a nonfiction of about 15 chapters, where the author after reading chapter 17 of Daniel J. Kevles' book " in the name of eugenics: Genetics and the Uses of Human Heredity," where the theme was "A NEW EUGENICS," and has just based his entire new book on that theme. It's actually an interesting book!

I'm not a fan of scientific writings, and I don't have any real interest in eugenics, so I'll be skipping this book. However, my suspicion is that this is an important work and hopefully it will find its way into the hands of thoughtful people. Congratulations to Mr. Quintyn on his accomplishment and for achieving BOTD.

This sounds like a very well-informed book! Both the history and current state of eugenics are such interesting topics. I'm glad the author was able to keep an objective approach to what can be a very morally subjective subject. Thanks for the great review!

This book intimidates me. It is too unique. I don't know if I read this book, how much will I be able to understand it. So, it will be better for me to just pass on this one. Thanks for the review.

I am not into non fictional book that much. But I like that this author has written this book in such a manor that it will make you read this book anyhow. I liked it. Congratulations on being botd.

This is a uniquely educational and motivational non-fiction book that shows ordinary readers the current state of "eugenics" worldwide. The book has a free sample on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written Online bookclub review. Congrats @b_quintyn on the BOTD selection.

I have no interest in genetic engineering and the like. From the review, the book will serve as an informative source for readers who enjoyed this kind of detailed discussion. Thank you for your well-written review.

Wow, how interesting is this book. It has really picked my interest as moreso when the reviewer alluded the examples of past events that have already occurred, such as cloning Dolly the sheep, and conjures up future possibilities that include the rebirth of extinct species such as the saber-toothed tiger.thanks for the review

Sounds like the author gave a good and largely objective overview of eugenics. I appreciate they took a scientific approach instead of the more common moral approach. Good review.

Discussing this topic and the moral and ethical issues surrounding it is necessary for humanity going forward. This sounds like an interesting read, though I will admit that the free sample felt a bit like information overload from the very beginning. I appreciate your thorough review and thoughts. Maybe I will give this one a try when I am in the mood for an informative and science-heavy read.

For a non-fiction book, it sure discusses topics and themes usually found in science fiction books. I know eugenics and the future it's paving is live in our reality but it just feels so far away, in that it's not available to the public except for debates on its ethics. Theoretically, everything is possible, and the author thinking that all that eugenics has to offer would be globally available to people is unlikely. When governments can't even feed all of its population, playing god on their people is doubtful, since that would mean they'd need to care, to individualize instead of mass producing yes mans to manipulate, which outdated school systems are already doing. Nice book, I'll read it.
