The topic of eugenics is an area of science that I haven't given much thought to and like that the author kept the pros and cons strictly from a scientifically ethics approach. This non-fiction book has been added to my reading list. Great review!

The New Eugenics ~ is a Non-Fiction/Scientific Book which tells of reproduction, tranhumanism, cloning, invitro fertilization, genome editing, abd self-controlled reproduction.

The book is addictive. Professionally edited. Well-written. Witty and scientifically written. Recommended for readers who are interested in science, fiction and eugenics.

~ Thanks to the Author

This book sounds both fascinating and enlightening, but a bit heavy on science for a layman. That said, it is undeniably well-written and a worthy read. Splendid review.

The new Eugenics engineering book is a yet to bring out measures and solutions if we'll followed . I like where the author's and the motivation for writing which is rooted in several important concerns within biotechnology. Further ,allow me to also acknowledge the goal of scientific advances In general mentioned in the book and these in biotechnology in particular, is to make life better for humankind like repairing damaged cells, curing diseases, protecting the climate, just to mention a few. Also five key questions addressed are very important in the sense that they are approaching real issues ,like if only the rich have access to genetic enchancement will this lead to competition within that social group that further isolates them from majority of people.

Genetics is a topic of interest to me. But this book seems to explore science and genetics on the light of morality and religion which is a turn of for me as it muddles things up when reading books like this. However, I think the author has done a great job on trying to be objective still. Thanks for a well written review Lina

Ha, I can liken this New Eugenics review to the current space travel embarked upon by Mr. Brandson and Mr. Bezos, like the reviewer pointed that Conrad suggested some of this technologies are only available for those that are too rich, I think that is right imagine the cost of travelling to space to that of say cloning a whole human being. For now government can do little about this. A great review that captures the theme of the book very well

This book sounds intriguing, indeed. I’m curious about the subject of eugenics, as I like to learn about themes related to transhumanism, cloning, self-controlled reproduction, among others.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting book focusing on the science of eugenics, specifically cloning, and what the present state of eugenics is today. The book discusses the issue/criticism related to the artificial creation of life and the religious concerns. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

I greatly appreciate that the author kept the discussion strictly to scientific facts and seems to have remained as objective as possible for such a controversial subject. I agree with him that eugenics (old or new) is dangerous. I don't go so far as to say that it shouldn't be studied. Controlled with strict guidelines, yes, but not made illegal entirely. I appreciated your thorough review!

The book is all about eugenics. It talks about the risks posed by the acts of genome editing, cloning, in-vitro fertilization, genome editing, self-controlled reproduction, and trans humanism. The author uses moral and scientific logic in his criticisms. This book has a really interesting topic. I’m going to look into it.
