I'm always excited and worried when Income across business books that are written from a Christian perspective. Excited because it's refreshing to listen to someone from a similar worldview but with vastly more business knowledge and experience. Worried because this is sensitive ground; do it wrongly and one could end up writing a really cheesy and unrelatable book in the bid to make it biblical. I hope the case of this book is more life the first scenario.

Nope. I was turned off after "core Christian values like Hobby Lobby," --you mean the company whose owners' stole ancient artifacts from other countries? Sorry, not for me. Congrats on the book of the day.

It usually feels like walking a tightrope whenever someone comes up with a business book that's got a religious slant. In this case, the author is a former President of a Fortune 100 company so it puts me at ease a little and assures me that he knows what he's talking about.

I enjoy books about applying Christian principles to life. This book is a great guide for using Biblical knowledge and the Golden Rule in the business world. The author sites businesses that use Christian beliefs to operate their businesses. The sample has motivated me to want to read the entire book. Good review.

My first instinct was that this was going to be a repetition of so many similar books before it, bringing nothing new to the table. I’m pleased to see how wrong this assumption was! You make this sound like a well-written and productive read. Thanks for the review.

This is a great review! It totally gives clear insights of what the books talks about. Truly, biblical principles give practical steps for achieving a successful and fulfilling career, and I can understand Sievert's emphasis on the connection between faith and career, and that through prayer, you have guidance to get through a tough situation.
This book will definitely be a good read!

Thanks for the great review. I think ,for the faithful, the inability to cut corners could be quite a hindrance to fast progress in business or work place.
