This sure sounds interesting. Thanks for your advice that it would be best to read the forerunners in the series. Great review.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting science fiction novel about a hostile race of aliens found in Iceland who discriminate based on facial features. However, one of them decides to represent their race and is joined by Alex and Okana in an attempt to prevent the alien's artificial intelligence from ordering the aliens to kill all humans with brown eyes otherwise their entire race will be exterminated. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

The whole combination sounds like those movies that keep you up all night. The author is able to vividly draw a clear image in your mind and that, is all a reader wants. I'd so read the entire series!

Nice review, I can pretty much guess what is going to happen next, though I hope to be surprised. It's a pretty long series, I'd have to start on the first, though. I'd give it a try, since I actually prefer third person perspectives.

Thanks for your review. At first, I thought this is a crime novel, but Alex's involvement with the alien ship proves otherwise. Still, the plot seems original and interesting.

This book has an interesting premise. I especially loved the eye bit, where no one else sees how Pandora's eyes are different. It is the fifth book in the series though. I would like to start with the first one.

I don't enjoy stories involving aliens and the thought of aliens being prejudiced against people based on their eye color is so absurd to me that I don't think I could take the book seriously. Thanks for the review, but I think I will be passing on this one.

The strategy of brown eyes being intolerable to aliens poses a problem for the success of their program! You have done a great job of showing how compelling the author makes the plot. This looks like a worthwhile series. I enjoyed your review.

I love science fiction books, but this one didn't seem very original for me. Nevertheless, the themes of alien technologies and thriller are interesting. Congrats on BOTD to the author! Thanks for the review!

The title brings to mind a popular mythical character. It seems to add intrigue to the surprising discoveries in the book. Congrats on BOTD!

Oh, dear! I have dark brown eyes, so I hope those aliens never reach Earth. I have to admire their patience, though: 180 million years is a long time to wait.

This futuristic, sci-fi novel sounds captivating from start to finish. The journey that Alex and Okana have to go through in order to save their planet is going to be wild. I'm a fan of this type of genre, so I will give it a chance. Congrats on being BOTD!

In sampling this book, I also had a hard time keeping track of all the characters. If I had read the prior books in the series, it would have probably been much saner. Thank you for your thorough review and recommendation.

Wow! Yes, it makes sense that you would be lost in the events of the book! I will definitely take note to read the series from the beginning. This sounds so complex. I bet the whole thing runs smoother when you completely understand the series. I love the concept of eye color as a source of conflict. I am very new to sci-fi and so I wonder if this series might be a good start to reading more advanced sci-fi books?
