You Don’t Need Anyone’s Permission to Live Your Best Life! by Donna Scoates-Nixon is a self-help book that seeks to help readers discover their best selves and set them in the right direction. Through this book, the author educates the reader on various factors which are necessary for their growth and those things which may prove to have a negative impact on their lives and development.

Inspired by various people, such as her late husband and Joe Karbo, Donna guides her readers into being the best version of themselves. She provides the reader with multiple quotes and sayings at the beginning of almost every chapter. This keeps the reader inspired and willing to know more. In this book, the reader will find common attributes that distinguished people who took a step to be the best they can be from people who still have glass walls shielding their breakthrough. The author provided us with the success story of successful people. This guides the reader into deciding what he wants for himself. We see the stories of Regis Philbin, Oprah Winfrey, Michelle Obama and so on. The author showed us the path to living an intentional life and controlling our emotions and surroundings to achieve our goals. The book serves as an awakening to anyone who is yet to discover his full potential.

This book has a few positive aspects. Firstly, the language employed in this book is easy to understand. Also, the author employs a tone that engages the reader and ensures that he quickly grasps the concepts being dealt with in this book. The author provides illustrations and stories which I found very easy to relate with, further improving my appreciation of the book. I enjoyed the movie recommendations the author provided and the examples from most movies I have seen before. Such references made me see the movies in a different light and helped me to understand the author’s intended message.

The author provided links to talk groups and helplines that can help anyone in any situation. I would classify this as taking a step further to ensure that readers are entirely changed after reading this book. In reading this book, I found quite a large number of things I intend to apply to my life to make the best out of it. I believe the author managed to make her message sink into the reader’s mind. Also, I did not find many errors in this book which shows that the book was professionally edited.

However, the book had one negative point. Most readers would misunderstand certain concepts the author tried to discuss, such as a college degree not being a key factor to success. This could discourage quite a number of people who would read too much meaning into it, a situation I have experienced before. This negative point notwithstanding, I rate this book a 4 out of 4 stars. I did not give it a lower rating because it was well edited, informative, and inspiring. I recommend this book to all who yearn to live their best lives on earth and to all who have goals they would like to achieve.

It Tru you don't need parmission to live you best life ,this because it our right to live the best life ,but to live best life it depend on your efforts if fighting with a given opportunity around the world ,every body have a chance to be successful ,every body have a right to be successful ,one thing to do is you goal and Effort used to convert our dreams in reality ,Generally everyone have a right to be a successful or every body have a chance to live best life !

I see why it's easy to misunderstand what the other meant by a college degree not being a key factor to success. Am sure more light is shade in the book about this. I would love to read this. It sounds like an informative book. Thanks for the review.

Seems very generic. There are several self-help books recounting more or less the same life experiences and findings. Still I would like to find out if there's anything different in this book. Thanks for the detailed review.
