How far can quantum mechanics go? Can a person be in two places at the same time? Professor Eldridge is a famous professor propounding his theory of quantum mechanics, particularly that a person possesses the power to be in two places simultaneously. After delivering a speech to the students of the University of Columbia, he leaves the auditorium for a date with his wife to be. The following day, police officers arrive at his house to arrest him for the murder of his rival, Frank Singleton, a man who Professor Eldridge detested.

Professor Eldridge is charged with the murder of his colleague and rival. The trial is the biggest news in the state, as different people from various parts of the United States are in attendance. While the Prosecutor claims that the whole idea of being in two places simultaneously is a smokescreen designed to confuse the Jury, the defendant counsels claim an alibi. Could Professor Eldridge be right about his theory of quantum mechanics? Could he have been in two areas at the same time, or is there a cat to be let out of the bag? Find out in this thrilling mystery.

A quantum Alibi by Liam Fialkov with Clarke Wainikka is an exciting crime-fiction book. I anticipated reading almost every chapter of this book. I found the language very easy to understand and this further engrossed me in its plot. This crime fiction was filled with mysteries that any reader would be eager to uncover. The book was very educative in the sense that it explored different areas of intellectual stimulation. I managed to learn a lot about these areas, such as quantum mechanics, shamanism, and processes of litigation. I learnt a little about the events that occur during a trial and the relevance of certain witnesses.

I also discovered interesting facts about different areas of physics. The author did an excellent job in managing to combine these areas. Despite the length of this book, I did not find a lot of errors. This showed that it was professionally edited. I believe this went a long way in my appreciation of this crime-fiction novel.

One negative aspect this book has is its length. After unravelling the mystery of the murder, which formed the primary substance of the plot, I lost a considerable amount of interest in the rest of the book. I also found it difficult at the beginning to appreciate some areas regarding shamanism, as I had little or no knowledge about the subject. However, I managed to acquire some knowledge about the subject at the end of my reading.

I rate this book a four out of four, as the negative points stated above are not sufficient, in my view, to warrant a deduction of a star in my rating. This crime fiction deserves a perfect rating because it was educative, intriguing and engaging for the most part. I recommend this book to all lovers of mystery and science fiction.

The premise is intriguing and makes me curious. I don't mind long novels if they're mentally stimulating and this seems like that kind of novel. Thank you for your great review!
