A work of fiction set in World War II. It seems to highlight the French resistance and the British interventions against the Germans. A good option for lovers of historical stories related to the Second World War.

I love history, but reading it in a more than 200paged novel is not my fancy. I tend to prefer history in movies than books.

Knowing the history of the characters is a great way to capture the interest of readers. Great job. This may not be my cup of tea, but it still looks promising. Congrats on BOTD.

While I am not a fan of this genre, the author has created a cast of well-developed characters and has detailed the various adventures and expeditions they took part in. Thanks for the lovely review, but I think I will pass on this one.

This sounds like an interesting piece of historical fiction. I am glad to hear that the author spent time thoroughly developing the characters. I also think it's neat that the author integrated other languages into the text, and that the readers have the chance to learn some words from other languages while reading. I think I will add this to my TBR list. Thank you for the detailed review!

This book, although fiction, seems to contain real life stories which do not get in the way of the story.Bravo to the author for this!

This seems to be a valuable account of World War II's French Resistence. I'm interested in finding out more.

Unfortunately, I will have to skip this book, because I am not interested in the subject at all. History of wars or any episode of it like specific battles or organizations. No offence and congratulations with BOTD!

A fictional historical account of World War II authored by Luis Gil Armendariz, who became the GS-15 and the Chief of the Strategic Division of the US Army Signals Warfare Laboratory (SWL). In researching a family history Luis Gil Armendariz had the idea to write this fictional account of the war to provide an account of the French Resistance. He has provided a detailed account and I learned many aspects of military and resistance that I did not know before. As World War II involved most countries on earth, this book would be informative and enjoyed by many different people. The review was splendid, thanks.
