Interesting! Very interesting! Thank you for your comprehensive review. I'm not the biggest fan of poetry, but I might give this a spin. Congratulations on BOTD!

For me, poems are outputs of creative people and I’m always fascinated with it even if they are most of the times difficult to understand at face value. There is a lot of concepts being tackled in this book especialky about identity and I’m looking forward to digging into this one to be fascinated!

Poetic books have never been my favorite, but this one has piqued my interest, especially because it directly addresses societal issues. I especially like how it handles racial inequity, which I believe still exists in most countries. Great review

It is invaluable in summarizing the gaps in some areas of life into meditation. Poetry is an excellent medium for promoting such consciousness. This book is intriguing. Nice review :)

‘A person who comes from an undesirable place’. Wow, I learnt something new from your review too!

I’m a novice when it comes to poetry, but I can recognise and enjoy a good flow and impactful meaning when I see one. The sampler gave me a glimpse into the kind of flow that was used in the collection, and I got it.

It’s great as well to see that the collection is organised into logical parts, as they will help novice poetry fans like me to appreciate the collection more.

That's awesome! I wish I could read the whole book than only sample pages we provided for free at kindle. Well I'm not the ascriber to poems but being hungry for knowledge as I'm burning inside for more knowledge, I choose to follow as well. The review was so deep the way the analyst made it, because even us who can't see the whole book because of the nature of problem, we would like to read the whole book like with passion. The first three poems in the book holds heavy, the massage is there clearly. Thank you for a clear point of view, and its good because we learning more about structuring on reviews as well.

This book of poetry seems to cover a range of topics and the author has used a little humor as well as a sarcastic wit. Should be interesting for poetry lovers that enjoy this style of writing.
Thanks for a good review on the book.

Appreciating poetry is an acquired art. I've dabbled at poetry appreciation for many years and particularly enjoy free verse. It seems that there is much variety in this book that sounds appealing to me, especially since a large number of the poems do not follow a rhyme scheme. That suits me just fine! Congratulations to the poet and for earning BOTD honors.

I think the cover of this book is intriguing; it captured my interest. I just recently watched a movie on blood diamonds, so I'm curious to see what this collection of poems says about it. Congrats on BOTD.

I really do enjoy skillfully crafted poems, especially ones that deliver a powerful message. It seems as if this author/poet has a gift in addressing social issues through poems and this unusual approach will win over many readers. Thanks for an excellent summary of this work.

A very thorough official review. The book includes 49 poems divided into sections based on subject matter including Aids, Racial Inequality, The Creator and insects. Not being into poetry I still found it a good read.

This looks like quite a collection covering an array of subjects. I'm not really interested in reading poetry so I will most likely pass on this one but congrats on such a well-written review.

'Official Review: Shitolian' by O Persaud has a good and clear introduction! The point that the poet writes from the perspective of someone who has had to scrabble for livelihood and respect is worth mentioning in the review! I love the description of the fun side of Persaud in the review! Also, the point that the poet examines animals and compares their traits to human behavior is remarkable in the review! Nice to learn that this is a beautiful collection revolving around the central theme of identity and evaluating old and new subjects in a modern way!
