Spike doesn't like vegetables. They are not his favorite. His mother encouraged him to take vegetables since they were needed for his growth. After refusing his mother's attempts to lure him to vegetables, he took Kate along with him to take tea at his grandpa's house. But this would be a life-changing experience for the little boy, Spike.

There are so many things I loved about this children's book. The author, Mrs. C!, in her book, I Don't Like Vegetables! illustrated the importance of a good relationship between grandparents and their grandchildren. I also feel that the author intended to show the importance of vegetables in the health of children.

What I loved most about this important children's book was the suspense that existed in the plot. Readers are kept on the edge of their seats when Kate and Spike walk into the greenhouse. I also love the image quality. It was pretty straightforward for children who are visual learners. I also love the two characters, Kate and Spike. They reflect the nature of children in our generation.

I feel children would perfectly assimilate the message the author was trying to communicate in this story. This is a good way to teach children the importance of fruits and vegetables. Parents can read up this book to find a better way to teach their children good values. Children have a good relationship with their grandparents, and this relationship often culminates in life-transforming experiences.

Julia Jennings, the illustrator of this book, did a perfect job in the illustration style used in this book. There was nothing I considered negative in this book. It was exceptionally edited, as it has no errors. Hence, I rate 4 out of 4 stars. This book will suit children who struggle with accepting certain kinds of foods. Children from ages three to six would love this book too.

One thing I look out for in every children's book that I read is the moral lessons. I enjoyed how your review depicted the good relationship between grandchildren and their grandparents. Also, a children's book that contains suspense will increase the children's imagination. Thank you for the awesome review.

"I don't like vegetables" is nearly every kid's motto. I think kids would be more willing to eat vegetables if this book is read to them. Thank you for this great review!

I appreciate the accuracy in this book; children dislike vegetables. The scenario fascinates me, and I believe that if God has preserved the grandparents, it is critical that children build a link with them. Great review

Literally my baby sister’s motto. But I really enjoyed the book. It’ll be fun for children to read. Hopefully they change their motto though.

Thanks for the awesome review. This books highlights some of the most important values children must learn- proper diet and relationship with grandparents. Although these things seem a little childish at first, but as one gains experience in life, he knows how much importance our diet plays in our life. As they say, "You are what you eat"!
