Family secrets always have a way of coming out. I look forward to going on the journey along with the author as she finds self-acceptance. Thank you for the interesting review.

If kimi finally found her family tree, is left for me to find out. I should add this novel to my bookshelf.

I couldn't imagine this happening to me, but the fact that she seems to survive it and is brave enough to share her story makes this book really intriguing. amazing review though, makes me want to read it.

It seems like the author has written a unique take on her own personal history – by writing her autobiography in the suspense-thriller genre. I agree with you about the slight confusion – it would be a lot better if she introduced characters properly (this usually happens because one is overly familiar with the content, so it's difficult to get into the mindset of looking at content from the perspective of someone who is totally unfamiliar). Thanks for the review.

Betrayal from your own family lives on with you forever. The trauma can lead to so many issues later on in life and I can definitely relate to that as well. I think it's incredibly brave of Jackson to pen down her experiences as it can be eye opening for many people.

Having those close to you deceive you is heartbreaking and causes a lot of internal trauma. This book sounds intriguing and sounds like an eye-opening journey to follow. Congratulations on being the book of the day, your review was great.

A life of deception has never been the best. And it is worse when it's applicable in marriages and family setup. This book vividly shows the effects of deception on family setup. It is a good book for me to read.

I thought this book is a novel fiction. Now this book becomes more interesting and intriguing, thanks to the compelling review. Anyway. I'll add in my TBR pile. Thanks a lot!

This seems like a great autobiography but I don't think this book is for me. I'm not a huge fan of non fiction. Congratulations on making book of the day!

It can be devastating to find out that your father isn't actually your biological father. Congrats on BOTD!

Finding out the truth about your dad not being biological can be very sorrowful. I’ll definitely read this book if it crosses my path.
