It sounds like an exciting thriller from such an interesting review that involves everything required- drugs, police, blood, fear, mystery, and an eyewitness. But I'm not very interested in this genre so won't take it up for now. Kudos to BOTD.

This seems like an engaging crime thriller with a creative story that has a good pacing that keeps the readers' attention until the end. I'll look into this series. Thank you for your great review!

This reviewer has quite unique point of view and I really liked it! At least I never encountered review written in the same manner and I enjoyed that perspective well enough that even though anything police sting involved are not my cup of tea I do want to read this book! Congratulations with BOTD!

The book sounds like an enjoyable crime story. I love that there were no dull moments throughout the book. However, I'm not a fan of crime stories, and therefore, I won't enjoy the book. Otherwise congrats on the BOTD!

I have a soft spot for crime thrillers too. And, if Montero's cooking is Latin cooking, I will be drooling too.
Sing me up! The enthusiasm of your review is contagious. Thank you!

I enjoy crime stories. I even watch them on TV. I love how detectives finally solve what seems to be a dead end. Honestly, this book is reflected in true crime scenes, creating a lot of suspense and thrill. I found it difficult to stop reading once I was fully immersed in these areas. Thanks for the review, I added it to my shelf.

The review is great and gave me an insight on what to expect in the book, but I'll skip on this one cause the genre isn't my field. Congrats on BOTD.

This book is such an action-thriller that is full-body suspense. I love reading detective books and I am sure I'd enjoy it. Thanks for an insightful review.

The writing skills of the author that created curiousity in the crime scenes kept me engaged to the book too. Great review.

The crime genre doesn’t really appeal to me, so I’ll probably pass. I hope others who like the genre enjoy!

Aside from the profanities, this book is right up my alley. I also like the strong female character in the story. Adding it to my reading list.

Oh, looks like a decent thriller, but it's a pity about the plot hole (about the detective not reporting what she had heard before the victim was murdered). Thanks for the review.

I like how intricately connected Detective Sanchez, Father John, and Father Montero are.
