This seems like a really exciting crime story that's perfect for both readers who prefer longer series and readers who enjoy standalone novels. Thanks for the great review!

I love the book already. The plot and storyline is very catchy. This book sure seems interesting. I want to know more about the refugee who witnessed a crime and what became of him. Congratulations on BOTD

Interesting story I must say, and the review is just as amazing. I'm not a fan of crime thrillers, but your review makes me want to check this one out. Thanks for a great review

Well, there's nothing better than a good crime potboiler with which to spend a summer's night. This sounds like a good one, so I may have to check it out. Congratulations to Mr. Baker on his achievement and for receiving BOTD.

Fred Baker's books are quite intriguing. He is quite the storyteller and the cooking tips are an added bonus! Thanks for the recommendation. I will be anxious to look into this one.

This book series sounds like a thrill ride from start to finish. I do agree with the minor criticisms of this book, but like you did not feel that it would merit the reduction of a star. I also liked that the story was complex and not as easy to piece together. The story line itself is very realistic since the War of Drugs has many cops doing drug buys and busts to capture cartel members.

'Official Review: Desert Sanctuary' by Fred G. Baker has a witty introduction and ending! It gives a vivid account of the crime thriller tale of a female detective to readers! The readers would enjoy reading the tale of detective Sanchez after going through the review! The reactions to the book provided by the reviewer are fascinating to read! Nice to learn that the characterization in the book is good!

It’s great that this novel was so well written. I liked the vivid way scenes were described as well. It’s also a plus that it is edited cleanly. Thanks for a nicely-detailed review!

First, I feel like the part the Detective missed was meant to keep the suspense and mystery alive. What will be the gain of giving out do much since it's a series. I loved that the book can act as a standalone. Great work. Congrats on making it to the BOTD.

Drug deals, gang wars, crime bosses, and illegal dealings would certainly keep any plot unpredictable, so I’m glad to hear this one will keep readers entertained! Thank you for your review.

Very informative review. It looks like a captivating crime thriller that I will have to give a read. I'm not usually interested in storylines that surround a drug cartel/gang war type of theme but this does look interesting. Thank you for the review.
