I’ve wanted to read one of the Detective Sanchez/Father Montero mysteries, and this sounds like a great one. Maybe Sanchez’s silence regarding that vital information will play a part in the next installment. Thank you for your great review and recommendation! This one’s going on my list.

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to find out how Sanchez will be able to solve the murder mystery through the help of two priests. I love this genre for its exciting premise and it is always like I’m part of the investigation as the main character solves the case.

I always enjoy a good crime mystery fiction. From your review, sounds like this one is also action-packed and fast pace, which makes it a good, fast, entertaining read. Hopefully the mystery element is not easy to predict? If so, that would enhance the experience even more.

And great to hear that even though this is a second book in the series, it can be read as a standalone as well.

I love how you crafted your review, especially the introductory paragraph. As I read through your review, I thought, "I should probably check out this book," but then I saw the ending about the profanities- unfortunately, I guess I will have to pass up this one. But your review was really nice and the book seems really interesting. Can't wait for your next review!

This book sounds interesting with its intriguing plot. I hope I will be able to say 'i don't wish to be in any of the character's shoe' when I read it.

I would definitely love to know if Sanchez will be vindicated! This is a nice piece of plot the author pulled off. Authors with this kind of creativity are not much, and Fred in this category is a rare gem!

This sounds like an action-packed adventure with good guys, villians, and everything in between! Murder, drugs, and part of a series! Thanks for the informative review.

Baker's crime thriller sounds exciting and I can't wait to read a bit more about Sanchez's adventures.

This sounds like a really interesting crime thriller. I am also intrigued that cooking is somehow involved in this, that's a good surprise. Your review is excellent, kudos on that.

Thank you for your wonderful review. I do wonder who that was that Det. Sanchez overheard and why they would suspect her. I wonder if someone set her up or what? So many questions.

I like your review because it show the brief of the book. I just sampled it and love it. Because the idea of author lead the fiction novel to different imagination. The crime thriller cases seemed equal to others but the author added much tricks and efforts in it.

I am notoriously picky with my crime novels, and this one seems right up my alley. Especially one so well edited! Detectives and priests and cops! Sounds like a certain marvel show, in the best way possible. I believe my favorite part of this review is the complex connections between the characters, meaning the priests, the immigrant and Sanchez.

Wow. I love crime stories because the really arise my curiosity to know the next line of action. The author did a wonderful work, he never focused on characters with less contribution to the book. I think this book needs to be in my shelf. Congrats on your BOTD!

From what I gleaned from the review, there isn't really much that interests me. In fact, the profanities turned me away from reading this. I don't find anything worthwhile about this.
