This crime novel has a drug bust gone bad. It sounds like an exciting, action-packed story. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD. Thanks to the reviewer for a solid review.

Just reading about Montero's cooking made me hungry. Is it Spanish cuisine?

Sadly, the drug problem is a concern the world over.

I'm not a big fan of crime thrillers but this novel was very well written, attention grabbing from start to finish and full of suspense.

This review reveals a lot about the story. The nexus between the murder of a top cop and the dilemma of Father, John, would be intriguing.

The raving review has truly caught my attention because I'm stoked to read this book. It isn't uncommon to hear about innocents taking the fall for crimes they stumbled upon, and I'm usually interested in learning what becomes of them. This should be a fun read, thanks for sharing!

I'm afraid crime stories may upset me these days, so I'll skip this book for now.
The review highlights at least one crucial point in the plot, which I find helpful in my decision. Besides, I'd rather read the first book before this one. Fans of crime thrillers will enjoy reading this novel. Congratulations on the BOTD.

I've already read a handful of books like this; I don't know how this one could be different from them. I've read other readers' praises on Baker though so I'm sure it's still good somehow.

Murder mysteries are the best. Looking forward to seeing how the detective proves her innocence and at the same time. Catch the culprit.

Crime novel plays a vital role that make you always refreshing, this story is that kind you cannot even have a nap before you finish..Detective sanchez unexpectedly blamed for the murder in which a cop and West Gang involved.. Sanchez hears the third party leaves from crime scene and she in need to prove her innocence by inquiring third party might be the witness nor evidence.I'm curious to know how she came out from the crime.. Review rocks and rated perfectly.. Congratulations on BOTD.

I love crime and mystery genres. This seems like a great read. It is a unique storyline. It also seems realistic and relative to the real world. I wonder what the witness saw. Great review.
