I like how the review started. It sounded funny. Of course no one wants to be among the bad guys.

A very interesting book that one must read, I love how every chapter got me fully interested in to what will happen next from the murder to the witness.

I’m glad to see that the lead is a female detective, although I hope the author avoids any stereotypes or cliches in describing and developing her. The book seems like it could be interesting, especially if the dynamics between the detective and the priest are engaging (but, of course, not romantic, since that would be too cliché). Even though this book is a standalone, I’d rather read the first book in the series before this one. Thank you for the helpful review.

Being wrapped up in a murder mystery is an afternoon well spent. Detective Sanchez seems to have her hands fill trying to prove herself innocent. It will be interesting to see how this plot unfolds and bringing the guilty parties to justice. Congrats on the BOTD selection!

I'm not against profanities in a book. I actually feel they give a conversational outlook. I wouldn't skip this one if I have to. Great job!

This is a story about police drug buy from drug traffickers. The cop that investigates the police drug buy gone wrong is faced with finding a witness to explain what happened at the crime scene. The official review was somewhat light on necessary information but rated the book a 4 out of 4 stars. I expected more from the review.

This is an intriguing crime mystery. I like how the author blends every character in each event of the story. Detective Sanchez's character is very strong. Her role is impressive.
