If you've ever tried to get your life together by connecting your thoughts and actions, this book is for you. The Process of Living is an informative book written in a casual way to engage the reader. As you read through the book you learn about "The Process" and how you can relate it to your life. Bill DeBarba, the author, gives explanations for each step to take to reach your goals through "The Process". The first step is just to start. You need to figure out what your goal is and try to visualize achieving it. Next, you need to set your focus on this goal. DeBarba talks about using mediation and allowing your subconscious and conscious mind align. Make your plan and get to action after aligning your mind. The author also says that it is important for you to journal on paper throughout the process for best results. This journaling can involve reviewing periodically on where you are at on your journey to your goal. Finally, you will arrive at your destination. This book provides examples for each of the steps to get the most out of "The Process".

I liked that this book was interactive. The author gave examples of activities you can do, and includes his personal experiences throughout the book as well. While this is a short book, there is a lot of information packed into it.

I found minimal errors while reading this book. The author could have included more information or examples into a few of the chapters. Overall, I don't have many negatives from this reading.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. This book was very informative and interactive. I learned a lot about how "The Process" works and how to make it best work for me and my own goals. The author includes examples as to how to complete the steps to lead to your goal destination. This book is very relatable when it discusses the reasons that people don't get to their goals. There is always going to be something that could get in your way, it is our job to work through that.

I would recommend this book to anyone who wishes to work on their mental health and work on aligning their mind with their goals. By following the steps that are included in this book, you can reach your goals. While the author does include religious references, he also adds that no matter what you think, "The Process" can work for everyone. Ironically, "The Process" goes on in every one of us without us realizing it. This book will help you to use the steps to your advantage.
