This sounds interesting. However, I prefer to read books with little side plots to spice up the story and flesh out the characters. This is just not my flavour of ice cream, sorry.

This book has a very attractive plot and crime thrillers always please me. I think it would be interesting to see what Hailey uncovers. Thanks for the detailed review!

Character development is very important for me when reading a book, so when you mentioned that the author didn't spend much time on it, I decided not to read it. I like the name Relic, it's very unique. I'm sad that I won't be reading it since suspense is one of my favourite genres.
Great job with the review!

I like fast paced books, but lack of character development is something I really hate so I'll pass reading this book. Also, great review!

Will Hailey be able to make her dreams come true after witnessing a murder? What's Relic's role in the story? The novel seems to be full of action and suspense. I wonder about the character development, though. Thanks for your review!

Now I want to know if Hailey was right and Burke was responsible for the killing she saw. Lack of character development doesn’t sound good, though… but I am intrigued.

It sounds like a good mystery book. But the lack of character development is definitely a minus. The plot sounds intriguing, so I will give it a try though.

I like the fact that the author invested his time and energy in the real action of the story. Broken Inn by A.W. Baldwin features tough, credible characters which makes the book more intriguing to read. Splendid review.

It seems such a coincidence that the murderer that Hailey saw, is the man who interviews her the next day! I wonder if it really is a coincidence or if she is being set up.

With no character development, it will be a plot-driven book and I like that it’s a mystery suspense. I’m not sure if the development of the characters will take away the enjoyment but it depends on how it progresses. I’ll give it a chance. Thanks for this lovely review.

Fast pace and action are great things in crime thrillers. I rarely read this genre. Too bad that there is not more character development. Great job with the review.

The stories in the series sound a little too fantastic for me. I didn’t read more than the samples, but I did like that in one of the books one of the main character’s name was Ethan. That’s a favorite of mine. :)
