I enjoy fast-paced, suspenseful stories. It’s unfortunate about the lack of character development. It does look like a fun read though. Thank you for your honest review.

Personally I do not like agressive and murder related book. Therefore, the review was good. I should avoid reading the book.

Hailey's experience sounds very shocking. The book could easily captivate all sorts of readers. However, I'm not that into crime thrillers.

sounds like an interesting read, where the storyline 'gets to the point', but disappointing that there is not much character depth. good review!

This fast-paced novel is definitely an enjoyable read. I like that "the author invested his time and energy in the real action" and not sideshows. However, I'm not a fan of thrillers. Otherwise, congrats on the BOTD!

I read a couple of the author's previous books and didn't notice the problem with the character descriptions, so it may just be that, since Relic is a continuing hero in the stories, his character isn't described as well in this one. I enjoyed reading your review. Good job!

This is a fast-paced thriller that certainly appeals to me. Even with the lack of character development, Relic sounds like an interesting character. Will Hailey finally make the right choice at the end? It will be interesting to find out more in "Broken Inn"

I like Baldwin's books because the main character protects the canyons from murderous, nefarious individuals. Great review!

National parks and bike expeditions sound relaxing, but witnessing a brutal murder would definitely stir up a plot! I’ve heard great things about all of these adventure books by Baldwin, so I might have to check this one out. Thank you for providing a thorough analysis of this publication!

Sounds like Relic and Wyatt had an amazing adventure. I've sampled first few pages and the storyline is promising. Great review.
Insofar as the word 'should' even has meaning, then we must say that the past is exactly as it should be, everything that happened should have happened, and everything that should happen will happen

This is the second book I've seen featuring Relic. He just seems to run across trouble at all turns, doesn't he? This time it sounds like he and Hailey have gotten themselves into a real fix. If I were into mysteries, I suspect I would enjoy these books. However, I think I'll leave them to those who enjoy the genre more than I do. Thanks for thethoughtful review!
