This book sounds like an interesting thriller/mystery, and the canyon setting is a compelling change of pace from what I’m used to in, well, most books I read. However, the lack of character development mentioned in the review is a downside for me. I like a good balance between plot and characters, so this could hold me back a little. Thank you for the helpful review.

The mystery behind the murder piques my interest. Connecting with the characters is essential in relating to them, it's a pity the character development has issues. Thanks for the review.

That's a hunch that is scary and if true can put Hailey's life at risk. Great Review!

After witnessing a man being killed in cold blood, I wonder how Hailey reacted. I hope she didn’t make a terrible mistake though. Congrats on BOTD.

This book is a murder mystery that occurred near the Colorado River. The murder was witnessed by a woman that was adjusting her binoculars. The official reviewer enjoyed the writer's style and the action in this story. The official review was very good and should motivate most to read the entire book.

No, I won't even consider an externship program far away from home...How sick before an interview Hailey turned as a witness for a cold blood murder.. Will she continue being there or will run home, even I'm curious to know what all Hailey want to overcome? Good review! Must be a perfect rating.

"I guess no good deed goes unpunished". This observation by Relic after surviving the deluge ,
does not only serve to illuminate his character, but sets an opening to which subsequent events are intricately related. Thanks for the great review, and congrats on being BOTD.

The plot of the book seems exciting but it's a shame that the characters were not as well fleshed out. Thanks for the great review!

This novel will fascinate readers who are crime-thriller enthusiasts. ReIic's character seems evaluative which made the story more intriguing.

Wow, The name of the story itself tells us there is something in the INN.
As i like suspense / crime stories and stories which are based on mysteries.. i liked the work of Hailey, the way she confidently without fear solves the mystery even though she knew her manager was also involved in it.

Altogether a good and suspense story.

Haley finds herself witnessing a murder just as she is about to start her externship program. To make it worse, she has a hunch of who committed the murder. I wonder what decisions she makes after being caught in this situation.

I hate to hear that the book focuses more on plot than on character development. However this book sounds so interesting! I couldn't imagine accidentally catching a murder like in this book!
Mad Hatter: "Have I gone mad?"
Alice: "I'm afraid so. You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are.”
