Historical fiction is not my taste but this book sure sounds appealing. I wonder how things will turn out for the different characters. Thanks for the detailed review!

Its good to know that this is a standalone book being the second in the series. I'm also fascinated by the fact that the book is somewhat fused with historical antecedents. So much to learn about 1940 in the wake of World War II.

This review had my eye. Even if I rarely read historical fiction, this book sounds very promising. A book about war and with few characters will be very interesting.

I'm not a fan of historical fiction but I can tell from your review the author did their research. I always have to applaud exceptional character development since that is what makes a great book.

A fantastic historical-fiction novel "Wolfgang's Castle" by Rex W Last, which explores into the endeavors of a group of Germans who try to counter the unstoppable advance of the Nazi regime. I think the book may give clear glimpse of WWII to me.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.

I'm not a fan of history fiction or war fiction, so I'll pass. However I would have liked to read and know how they actually survived from the Nazis. Nice review.

I like that the author opted for a rational approach with the characters, that is, he opted for several characters, each of which has a specific task and is important for the plot of the novel. In addition to the German couple aware that Nazism is pushing them to ruin, there are also Sam and John as escaped POW as well as the medical couple Johann and Elise.

I’m happy to see the author took your advice and edited his book. That will make it a smooth read for future readers. This book does look like it’s quite captivating, especially where a character jumped off a moving train. I look forward to reading this book soon. Thank you for your insightful review.

It is the second book in the series. It encompasses the crime and mystery genres. This novel is set in the time of the Nazis, it includes aspects of the Second World War. It seems interesting that it addresses the effort of a group of Germans to counter the advance of the Nazi regime.

This sounds like an interesting story that will especially appeal to fans of the WWII era. I’m not positive that’s me, but I’ll give the sample a look.

I look at the cover, read the first part of the title Wolfgang's Castle and feel the anticipation, hoping to get great enjoyment from medieval story, with knights and kings, intrigue and politics, fantasy and real history mixed together. Unfortunately, any mention of Hitler kills my mood to read anything related to this monster.
