I am a German enthuisiast and I love reading anything that has to do with their language, history and culture. I also truely love it when an author has really well developed characters that I can connect to so this novel is definetly something I want to read.

While I am not a huge fan of historical fiction, it sounds like the book boasts well-developed characters. I am glad to hear that, while it is part of a series, readers that haven't read the first book can jump right into this one. Also, I am glad to hear that the editing has dramatically improved from the first edition of the book. Thanks for the informative review.

Historical fiction is not my favourite genre, but I commend the author for taking the reviewer's comments into account and improving the second version of the book.

Not to offend anyone, the book sounds really great in review with the added bonus that the reader does know how WW ll ended. But not in my current state of mind to read about Nazi régime, impending ruin and horrors of war. Will shelve it for future reference and congrats on BOTD!

Regrettably, historical fiction is not my favorite genre. The plot, on the other hand, appears to be intriguing. Great review

Although I am a big fan of crime thrillers, I found myself being put off this book a little and I think it is because it has a strong war theme as well. I have never really enjoyed war books and so might just pass on this one. Many thanks for the review.

I loved the Jenny character. She thrives in a male dominated field. I personally don't like historical books but this one is a must read both because of its historical importance and interesting characters.

I personally enjoy historical fiction set during the Second World War. This sounds like an interesting series. I may have to check it out. Congratulations to Mr. Last on his accomplishments and on receiving BOTD honors.

I love historical fiction novels, particularly books set during WW2, and this one looks very interesting. I was definitely captivated by the sample reading and look forward to reading the rest of the book. I'm interested in seeing how the paths of the various characters cross throughout the story.

Awesome review. A book for fans of historical and war fiction. The story line is intriguing and I like that a little bit of humor and romance was included.

This sounds like a fast paced, but well developed story line. The book reminds me of the movies The Great Escape and Schindler's List primarily because of the wide variety of characters. The specific skill sets that they have developed in order to fight back against the Nazis is incredible and courageous. These characters are mostly likely inspired by real life people who beat the odds and survived.

Wolfgang Castle seems to be a very exciting and suspense-filled novel and I’m looking forward to digging into this to find out how Wellings, Willkins, Schmidt and the others collaborate to stop the Nazis from destroying Britain.
