The story follows a German couple and their attempts to help other people escape the Nazis. This is a fast-paced historical series of novels, but this installment can be read as a standalone. Congrats on BOTD!

I'm not fond of war books that much but based from this review, the characters were fearless and up for a chaotic adventure in order to save Britain from the Nazis. Thanks for the review.

wolfgang's castle naturally thought must be wolf's story book surprisingly its not.. It is about the endeavors of a group of Germans to counter the unstoppable advance of the Nazi régime in 1940.. Author really take us to the war field with full package of action and suspense, I wonder how he add humour and romance.. I love to check this book.. Nice review..

The theme of war fiction doesn't attract me, but it seems to bring some interesting aspects about history and strong female characters too. Congrats on BOTD to the author! Thanks for the informative review!

Wolfgang's Castle" by Rex W Last - For some of us, this book is nostalgic and authentic in its vocabulary. The characters talk just like they did in wartime; a kinder, more gentle age apart from the Axis Alliance and its slaughter. A theme of this book is the recognition that women played an important intelligence

This is an interesting take on this chaotic time in history. I enjoyed your description of the characters and the way you set up the plot. Thanks for noting that this book is a stand-alone in a series. Great writing! I would like to read this series.

C/M/T/H isn't one of my favorite genres, so I'll probably be skipping this one. I have to say, though, that I admired Jenny's ability to talk herself into having self-confidence. Prosser was an absolute prat, and I dearly hope the commander keeps his word and 'has words' with him, including reassigning him somewhere unpleasant! Excellent review, thanks!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting thriller set during WWII following two groups of people. The first consists of Major Archie Wellings and Miss Jenny Wilkins of the Secret Operation Executive. The second consists of Wolfgang and Ursula Schmidt who are daring enough to escape off a moving train as they were being transported to a POW camp. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

It sounds like an intriguing novel based on the acts of Nazis trying to are over. I do enjoy good c/t/h/m books. Therefore, I will most like be adding this to my read list soon.

I really not a fan of historical fiction! Britain, a great nation to be saved may be quite messy. But I hope they succed on this life threatening mission.

Im not into historical fiction novels however this seems like a great read for some people. The characters seem well developed and this would be better suited for anyone with an interest in the Nazi regime. Great review.

I do enjoy a good historical fiction and this one sounds intriguing. What caught my attention was the the inclusion of gifted female characters who work alongside the male characters in such a tough situation. I can't wait to read and find out whether the team pulled off the mission of saving Britain from impending doom from the Nazis. Thank you for an enlightening review.

I just read the first two chapters of the book. The first is about a pilot trying to capture impossible shots while the second is about an enthusiastic girl student trying to decode those shots picture. Liked the flow. Your review will help me a lot to understand the book more easily. As you mentioned, few characters are involved only, that great. I hate when there are too many characters involved. Your review has describes the characters, very apparently.
