While others may find stories set in the Nazi regime uncomfortable, I think this work of fiction does a great job of highlighting the the people who were fighting the tyranny at that time. Ursula, Elise, Kaspar, and the others are characters that perfectly exemplify this. Congrats on BOTD!

I love reading stories centered around World War II. I think it's great that this book introduces a small cast of characters, allowing the reader to fully connect with them as their stories intertwine. I can't imagine the skill and bravery required to successfully hinder and stop the Nazis. I look forward to reading this book. Congrats on the BOTD selection!

I’m definitely interested in this book. From your review it seems that it breaks from the simplicity of describing Germans as Nazis. I even like that there is a glossary there. By the way, maybe that should have encouraged you to unpack ‘SOE’ for us in this review. Anyway, even though this may not be a historical book, it promises knowledge.

In all the listed characters above the most fascinating to me are the adventurous John and Sam. I don't actually know maybe is because am a fan of adventure stories but I would definitely love to know more about those characters in wonder land.

Although I am not a fan of stories playing off in a war era this book does sound quite interesting. I do like the fact that the book is written in the first person, and also that the review mentions that the author used slang from the era in the book. It makes the story more authentic.
