THE PRICE OF DREAMS by Jerry A.Greenberg. John is a talented artist and is absorbed in his work that he rarely finds it easy giving time to his relationships with others from childhood. Nevertheless, at college, he meets Amy, a free-spirited, childlike personality girl, who hardly took her work seriously, and failed to concentrate on her projects, which gave her worries about her future. Meeting John, she became certain that he had the qualities she lacked and needed. And further convinced that she needed a man like him if her future has to be productive. On the other hand, John was dating Sharon, a beautiful, mature, levelheaded lady with all the qualities he liked. How did it go for John, Amy, and Sharon? Well, the book is ready to tell you that.

This book has a philosophical concept on life, in relation to relationships and the effects of personal decisions. This is what I liked most. Jerry's character development is also another thing to like in this book. There are several characters that played a great role in supporting the main character, of which some were used only in specific chapters and some were introduced in the ongoing chapters and became key supporting characters to the main character. My favorite character is Thornton. I liked his philosophical perspective on life and relationships. One of his ideologies is: " Philosophy is what you make of it. It's really about opening up to differing views of the world around you. Throwing away all the conventions we learn growing up and opening our minds to see and accept alternative viewpoints. Who's to say anybody's take on things is the correct one. We are all unique with our experiences interpreted specifically to meet what we consider our realities of being."

There's nothing I seriously disliked much except for some adult words which however I think is not a big deal to a vast of readers.

I didn't find serious or many errors in this book which assures me that it was professionally edited.

Four out of four stars is my final rating of this book because of the said reason above, in addition to the concept that I found to be practically important in real life, besides the book being entertaining and captivating.

I recommend The Price Of Dreams to young adults, romantic drama fans, workaholics dudes, ambitious persons who find no time for other people, and all other-fiction drama genre fans, to read this novel. Action thriller and sci-fi fans have an option either to give it a taste or not.
