Do I Need a Will Or Trust by Taylor Philip Willingham, J.D. M.S., is an educative book that contains 21 chapters. The book talks about the purpose of a will and trust. It also teaches the readers how to write them with the help of an attorney.

This book demonstrates a creative way of passing property from one generation to the next. Reading this book made me understand that there are two major ways of passing out a property. You pass out a property when you are alive or when you are dead. You know how difficult it is for your property to be passed or shared between your children, especially when there is no written will or trust.

Sometimes I wonder why you would put your relative in charge of your property when there are many ways of writings a will for your property to be shared accordingly. Failure to plan means letting the state legislature distribute your property in the best way. Also, failing to plan affects more women than men. This book tells us that it is not proper to write your will yourself because you need the assistance of an attorney with estate planning experience. To learn more about this book and everything it has to teach, you will have to read this book.

I enjoyed reading this book because of the ways the author was able to explain wills and trusts. He also clarified their differences and the importance of an attorney. The way he used pictures also reassured me that the advice I was getting from the author was good, and it also made learning easy for me. All these, coupled with the live events he used to illustrate every topic in the book, elevated my reading experience. I did not see any negative aspects in this well-written book. The author wrote from the experience he has gathered over several years and arranged them properly for one to understand. This book taught me a lot of various techniques for writing a trust or a will.

I recommend this book to adults over the age of 18 who want to learn how to write a will and trust and the importance of doing so. Parents can also know the implications of not writing a will in time. I also believed that a professional edited this book exceptionally well because I did not come across any errors. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. Anyone who loves to read educative books can also give this book a read.
