Rulers of the Galaxy, by Tayma Tameem, is an outer space, cosmic galaxy adventure featuring a female amnesiac protagonist on a mission to protect a baby with extraordinary gifts and an empire seeking power by any means necessary.

Daaken General of the Imperial army has orders to lead to the troops to war against the Elementals. Their mission is to kill the royal family including the new born child who may possess unique gifts. During the mission as General Daaken was prepared to plunge a dagger in the heart of the child an extraordinary power full force within the child causes Daaken to fade away, which leads the remaining of the troops and the army to complete the mission.

Disoriented with a total loss of memory except her name, Salarin wakes up in the middle of the Elemental palace grounds, surrounded by multiple dead bodies. In her disoriented stage Salarin comes across a small baby in which she impulsively decides to protect the child form any harm. In the moments of finding and rescuing the child she finds herself in a fight against soldiers but she finds a way to escape and crash lands on a planet named Elventar, where she comes across a raider named Bosco, in which they from an alliance to help one another. Together they set off on a mission that takes them across the galaxy to solve Salarin missing memories and the identity of the baby, while being chased by the Imperial army.

In the "Rulers of the Galaxy", by Tayma Tameem. I found the book to be packed with many twist and turns in every page. Tameem manages to create an incredible out of this world fantasy that takes you across the galaxy. It is mostly definitely a story about friendship, bravey, trust, loyalty, war, power and so much more.

I would give "Rulers of the Galaxy", a 3 out of 4 stars. I felt the book was well edited but I did feel that the story was a little bit too rushed and a bit muddled due too the moving of going backwards and forward in time.I would definitely recommend this book to almost any reader but most especially to anyone who are fans of sci-fi and fantasy genres.
