Men Are So Romantic!

Post by booklvr62 »

A wife being the romantic sort, sent her husband a text...

"If you are sleeping, send me your dreams. If you are , send me your smile. If you are eating, send me a bite. If you are drinking, send me a sip. If you are crying, send me your tears. I love you."

He texted back..."I'm on the john, what should I do?"

@bklvr62 Maybe he should have given it more thought. Then said something like "I'm having coffee, one lump or two?"
There's a way out of anything.
You can only be grounded if you're crazy. If you come to me and tell me you should be grounded because you're crazy, I won't ground you.
Why not: Because crazy people don't think they're crazy.

We are? I think only to our own mothers to be fair. Well thats true in Ireland anyway, the mammy always comes first. Speaking of which, I better wrap my Mothers Day pressie.

"Our own Mothers", OMG, that is so disappointing SKM. Men can be just as romantic as women. I send Hades flowers all the time. A mate helped me set up a romantic dinner on the beach. I told Hades we were going fishing, when we got there it was all set up, a table and chairs under a gazebo right on the beach. It was a small beach and we had it all to ourselves as soon as my mate left. I always get up early and leave her messages on the mirror, when she has her shower the steam makes the messages matieralize like magic. It does not take much to make your partner happy and it's the little things that count. I believe that deep down you are a romantic, and don't want to admit it. :D

That's a bit sweeping ... IMO it depends on the man and what you understand by romantic - also what to one woman might be romantic to another woman might seem controlling or even threathening. Human relationships are all very confusing really!

You are so right Fran. Imho it is ridiculous to make sweeping generalized statements, when we are all different in so many ways. Which is how it should be, imagine if we were all the same. Life would be so boring. :D
