Maybe it's because I'm not a parent but I don't think changing your child's personality should be a thing. I get redirecting stubbornness towards something productive or healthy but making your child more "malleable" seems a bit misdirected to me.
However, I guess relaxed pleasure could be used for a better purpose.
Thank you.

The author did a nice job creating this book. Most of the children nowadays are so stubborn and feel like they know it all. I believe this book will go a long way in providing positive results in stubborn children.

My medical background makes me curious about how relaxed pleasure is performed! I don't have any small children (I wonder if this works on adult children! :eusa-think: ). I will at least read a portion of this book to see where it takes me. Thanks for the review!

I believe any technique that helps a parent raise a socially acceptable child is beneficial. Getting a child to change their mind and become more flexible through pleasure is more beneficial than violence. Thank you for your review.

"Stubborn children" by Norio Ando - I loved the first book, Emotional Cure for Autism, by Professor Norio Ando. I love the way the writing comes across. Because the author's native tongue is japanese, the way he constructs English often gives a greater emphasis than normal. The tone of his writing certainly suggests sincerity and deep personal concern for spreading ideas he has learned over the past 30 years. The concept of helping stubborn children is similar to helping autistic children, a sort of outside-in approach where getting children to feel an excited, pleasurable state can work to change their emotional outlook on life. Thanks for the review.

I love books that are written in a simple language because they convey message easily and it is not hard to grasp.

Stubborn people, not only children, are difficult to deal with. They are mostly selfish and do what they want, anyhow. This might help in putting up with those kinds. Thanks for the review.

I liked the concept of this book. I think it would help parents understand their stubborn kids and help them overcome the problem. I would recommend this book to a friend of mine who has an eight-year-old stubborn son. I'm sure this book would be of great help to her.

While I am not a parent, and don't plan on having children at all, seeing that it mentions autistic children has piqued my interest. My brother is autistic, and reading this book might teach me some nice things for him. So I'll give it a try. Thanks for the helpful review.

The title itself is so much in demand these days, I guess. Every parent must have faced a child's stubbornness at a certain stage of childhood. I am going to read this one, for sure. With figures crossed, I'm hoping to extract some substantial practices and just not philosophy. Thanks for the intriguing review.

I'm intrigued by this unique method called 'relaxed pleasure'. I've never heard about it before but I'll definitely read the book because I believe that it's best to bring positive changes in their personality when children are young instead of waiting for things to smooth out themselves.
Thanks for this wonderful review. :tiphat:

I don't know if revealing what the book mean about relaxed pleasure would kill the suspense of the review... The approach is worth trial since it's likely not invasive but I guess reading the book might answer my worries of whether there can be any side effects. Thank you for the review.
