I like the fact that the book detailed the evolution and transition of Fred's life. However, I would like to know how his good luck charm was able to sail him through the hurdles of life. The book sounds very interesting. Well done for a great review.

I've never heard a book described as a soothing conversation with someone despite the subject matter. But I can imagine what that sounds like and foe that, I want to read this story. Excellent job!

It seems that the bear worked like a charm, pun intended. This is a war story that ends peacefully, if I'm reading the review correctly. That's a novel ending, but not unwelcome.

I don't like war stories but this sounds very decent. Fred's transition after the war implies positivity and I like the part about the good luck charm. Great review.

I love books on war. From what you say, this will be very interesting and has a unique way of how its told. I'm curious on how the bear charm comes into it all. The part about where it reminds you of stories told to you by your grandpa made me want to read it even more! Good review. :tiphat:

War stories are often overly graphic, highly unsettling, or deeply depressing. It's nice to realize that there are others that lean more toward life affirmation. This sounds like one of the more affirming stories. Congratulations to the author on achieving BOTD.

From a short sample of the book I have read, the story is an interesting one. I am mainly interested in the part about the bear and how it guided Fred through his life. Thanks for the review.

This review make me want more of this book. A book so solemn that can be liken to a bedtime story. Characters are well-developed. What a great piece. Kudos to the reviewer.

What I read of the book through the sample reading was captivating and so well written that I'm anxious to read the rest of the book. It sounds like a unique novel telling the story of Fred through the many stages of his life along with a good luck charm that appears to be more than just that. Thank you for the informative and excellent review.

'Official Review: The Bronze Bear' by Jerry A. Greenberg is a complete overview of the tale of a guy's journey through life for keen readers! The point that the book tells a story of war, survival, trust, friendship, loss, and a young boy's transition into social life after war is worth mentioning in the review! The review very well explains the story of the book for the benefit of all readers! I like the ending of the review! Nice to learn that the story is good and was told in a way that reminds the readers of a nighttime story told by a grandpa!

I'm not a fan of war books, but I'm definitely going to read a feel-good book that would captivate my senses. The story of Fred and his good luck charm is one that would sure teach lessons on friendship and self-confidence. It is one I'd love to read. Thanks for your beautiful and well laid out review.

This sounds like an interesting story that takes the reader on a journey with the characters. I’m not a fan of war stories that focus on the battles. This sounds like the book focuses more on the actual life story, which I like. Thanks so much for the review!
