sounds like an enlightening story of perseverance and acceptance, free must have been through many road blocks and adventures to reach where he is right now, a good review, interesting book.

I find myself quite curious after reading this review of the book. I look forward to reading the book. I will go on to check other reviews of the book and if I am convinced enough, I will add it to my library collection. Great work by the author to present such literary work of art. I really appreciate authors for pouring out their imagination into these books. Congratulations on the book of the day award.

The process of Fred's transition seems like a rigorous one. But the narration would be worthwhile. Congratulations!

I'm not a fan of war stories but this one seems pretty interesting. I love that the book is well written and that there's character development throughout the story. I'm definitely adding this to my shelves.

I'm not a war story aficionado, and the idea of a "good luck charm" isn't appealing to me either, so I'm afraid this book would be missing on my shelf. However, I like that the author was able to tell the story in a joyous way, keeping Fred right at the heart of it all. Thanks for the review.

Though I am not a superstition enthusiast, the influence that the lucky charm exerts on Fred seems equivalent to that of guardian angels in among Christian believers.
Thanks for the great review.

A bear as a good luck charm! That's definitely fascinating. However, I'm not too fond of books that discuss war, so I may pass on this one. Nonetheless, congrats on BOTD!

The Bronze bear by Jerry A. Greenberg sounds like a riveting read. The author's choice of words is very easy to digest and his writing flows. The character development is very admirable too. However this is not my kind of book genre but thank you for your lovely review.

Based on the picture, I honestly thought that the bronze bear has something to do with a medal or trophy.. lol.. anyway, i like war stories but right now, it's just not my right time. But I'll definitely put this in my TBR shelf and read next time. Thanks a lot!

I’m not too big on war stories right now, but I do like the idea of this good luck charm, Bear, and how it helped the main character grow up and through his time as a soldier. It puts a spin on such tokens that we don’t always think about; many people think of “good luck charms” and similar objects as silly superstitions, but like Bear is for this character, they can serve as a symbolic source for confidence for those who have a hard time, for whatever reason, gathering it from inside themselves. Thank you for the helpful review.
