A request for Season 2: Gilmore Girls: A year in the life

Post by Selisha22 »

Has anyone watched the Netflix series 'Gilmore Girls'?. It is one of the best series I have ever watched and would really be excited if they brought out a Season 2 in 'A year in the life' limited series. The ending of Episode 4 where Rory said that she was pregnant left you wanting for more of the series. Really hoping they do!! 😄

Gilmore Girls is basically a series show that is depicted on a mother and her daughter's relationship with each other through the years. It shows all the basic things that everyone may be going through at school, work and personal relationships with family members and love. The story line is really entertaining and you can even learn a thing or two also. Check it out and see! 😄

Yes, I would love for netflix to produce a season 2. All the Gilmore Girl shows were so good that I watch the reruns often. And the way the Season 1 left us all hanging, it is just perfect for a follow-up. We have to follow Luke and Lorilei now that they are married, and see what happens to Rory.

The way they ended on a cliffhanger left me helplessly awaiting more and I love the series so much I would like it to continue. However, I do understand why they would end it there, as it’s appears as if the show has finally come full circle. Although I would love to know who’s the father, despite the fact it’s pretty clear that she seems to be reliving her mother’s life.

Gilmore girls has been talked about a lot in this forum and it makes me want to watch it but the fact that it's already in season 4 put me off.

Haha, I would LOVE it!

How did you find Rory's character in this remake? I feel like she is a mess!

I was not a fan of the first Year in the Life series. I did not like how Rory ended up. The storyline Amy Sherman-Palladon wanted would have made sense had she included it for the last season, not 10 years later. Rory was a brilliant role model for little girls, and then - nothing. This big Yale graduate ends up at home, pregnant by some random guy? That was not ok.
