It is really an interesting book about war. It gave me insights about war stories and it is really amazing book for those who want a look to war.

This war story sounds quite engaging as it shares the horrible experiences of the soldiers they face during the war.

I do like to read about history, but this book is probably too graphic for my taste. The Vietnam War was a horrific time for our soldiers.

I feel that this is a story about an important topic and people who enjoy war stories would probably enjoy this book. I do not enjoy reading slow paced war stories so I am going to pass on this one.

This sounds like a deep, character-driven tale of what life was like for soldiers who served during the Vietnam War. Thank you for your fantastic review.
There is no frigate like a book
To take us lands away,
Nor any coursers like a page
Of prancing poetry.
This traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of toll;
How frugal is the chariot
That bears a human soul!

This review captures some things I agree with but didn't know how to put into words myself. The profanity and inappropriate sinful things so freely and shamelessly spoken of are rampant. I don't agree with these things, and I will not be reading this book.

A book chronicling "an up-close and personal encounter of the horrors of the Vietnam War" is defnitely a great read. I like that despite being a long read, it is not a tiring experience to read on. However, I'm not a fan of war stories. Congrats on the BOTD!

This was a very nerve-wracking read. There was so much to anticipate and it was truly heartbreaking reading about the experiences of the soldiers during their time in Long Thong. Congrats on BOTD!

Thank you for the great review. I hope the author will correct the errors in the book. From the sample it seemed relatively easy to read and understand, but I don't care for war books. So I will pass on this one.

This review is soooo good. This would be a great book, especially because we always center on those who are either killed in war or the family members of that solider, but we never took a deep look into what the other soldiers felt like when they saw their comrade dying right before their eyes and they can't do anything about it. This is such a lovely review, I would love to check it out.

I really enjoy books with War themes and I'm sure I will enjoy this one too. I like the emotions and genuineness that comes with war experiences. Thank you for this great review. I hope the author will do something about the errors.

The post Vietnam war era was quite controversial. Many soldiers came home but were not really home. Sounds like a readable book. Thanks for the review.

This is not a book you finish in one sitting. This is probably the book that you keep leaving and then come back to when the effect of the highly descriptive scenes veers off. It is slow and detailed, actually making the reader experience what goes on in a war zone. The review does a great job of describing what to expect from this book.

This book tells us about the trauma that the soldiers have to go through. Wars leave them with many scars and some scars are not just physical. I would like to read the book. Thanks for the great review.
