Fair Dream by Gabriel Alexander is a thriller and action novel. The protagonist of the book, Kouros Bashrawi, is a fifty-five-year-old billionaire of Afro-Iranian heritage living in California, United States. He is of the Muslim faith, though not very inclined to religious practice. Kouros is happily married to Elizabeth, a Philosophy Professor at Berkeley University. Their union is blessed with Nicolas and Tess. Tragically, Kouros loses Elizabeth and Tess to the cold hands of death in a ghastly motor accident on Tess’s fifteenth-year birthday. Their deaths left Kouros and Nicolas so devastated that they almost lost their minds.

Having just Nicolas left as the only family member, Kouros hired the service of Vladimir, a secret agent to watch over Nicolas. While in the university, Nicolas got Sarah pregnant, and the news got Kouros so excited that he organized a special vacation for Nicolas and Sarah in Bali. Unfortunately, in Bali, Vladimir could not save Nicolas and Sarah from a suicide bomb attack launched by an Islamic terrorist group (not a spoiler). Consequently, the death of Nicolas and Sarah got Kouros tasty and hungry for revenge. While mourning the death of his beloved son and his girlfriend, Kouros had a dream about a strategy that would eventually bring about relative peace across the world. What then is the strategy Kouros dreamt about? The answer to this question is in the book Fair Dream by Gabriel Alexander.

There were lots of positive aspects of this book that not only caught my interest but also got me glued to it throughout my reading. Chiefly among them are the intriguing storyline, the pace of the book as well as the avoidance of unnecessary details that would drag down readers' pace. Furthermore, I must admit that the character development is so exceptional that readers would not struggle to identify who is who in any part of the book.

I enjoyed how the author narrated the philosophical discussion between Elizabeth and Tess on women's dignity, fragility, and modesty before their untimely deaths; it was inspiring! Though a larger part of the book was movie-like, and as someone who has had first-hand experience of terrorist attacks, it was easy for me to relate to some of the events portrayed in the book.

There is absolutely nothing I dislike about the book except the fact that it contains some act of violence, which I consider typical of action and thriller books of this kind.

Although I found a few spelling errors in the book, this neither disrupted my reading flow nor my enjoyment of the book. Most importantly, it would not in any way change my mind about rating the book four out of four stars for having a unique and strategic storyline.

I would therefore recommend Fair Dream by Gabriel Alexander to readers who love action and thriller books. Finally, I hereby join the author in soliciting support and sponsors to make this intriguing and captivating book into a movie.

I don't know why, but I've always felt that the action novels are a bit hard to stick onto. But somehow I'm convinced after reading your review to give this one a chance. Great review, thanks!

Great review! It doesn’t sound like a thriller that follows a typical thriller format. Im considering giving this one a read!
