I usually wouldn't go for poetry but this sounds beyond amazing. Thanks for the recommendation!

I often avoid poetry because I feel like I don’t “get” the larger meaning/significance the poet is trying to get across. This sounds like a good book to get into poetry because, like you said, each poem is very short and even if I didn’t fully get one, there would probably be another I would connect to. I’ll have to give it a try sometime. Thanks for the review!

' I admit to genuinely enjoying one poem while finding the next to be wanting.'
I think that's a good observation, one that holds true for other forms of artistic expression as well. If you listen to a music album, chances are you'll like some songs better than others. I suppose it's just how we respond to things. Great review!

I agree completely. I wanted people to understand I didn’t enjoy every one of the poems, but that shouldn’t stop anyone from trying it because they might enjoy a poem that I just didn’t understand.

I was almost put off by 101 poems but luckily, they are short. It sounds like the author covered a lot of topics, it will be interesting to read his take. Thanks for the insightful review !

I don't often enjoy reading poems, but seeing this book contains diverse topics I will give it a try.
The poems have profound themes on philosophy and religion as well as other thought-provoking stuff.
Thank you for the review.

What I like most is how the reviewer points out that not all poems might be suitable for the reader, but you would find poems that are. I admire the soul that is put into poetic works. It truly comes from within; shows you the substance of the poet
