I have limited knowledge on Greek mythology, but I have enjoyed whatever I've read so far. While Orpheus' story seems fascinating, I won't be reading the book since it's in poetry form. Thank you for the wonderful review!

Since I am not a poetry lover, I will pass on this book. However, it sounds like an excellent book for those who do enjoy poetry. Thanks for the excellent review!

Though I am not a fan of classical poetry books, but my passion for learning would propel me to read this book as it presents the opportunity of learning new words and terms of ancient Greek. Great review and congratulations to the author on being the book of the day.

The review is intriguing. This Greek classic poetry sounds appealing especially after this review. I would save this for later.

I personally am a huge fan of poetry being a former student of English literature. However, I don't relish reading translations. I dont have that kind of patience to refer to dictionary either. I am sure the book must sound fascinating to lovers of Greek mythology. I dont think I would be reading this one. However your review was amazing. Good work!

Well, this is a wonderful review. You have given a great wrap of the book additionally, this book has an odd theme, "superhuman musical ability" I like it already.

The author confidently uses the knowledge of Greek mythology, history, culture, geography and successfully uses them in his poems. I like that there is an evident effort in the poems to eastablish a balance between contradictory powers in nature.

I have always been a fan of Greek mythology. But poetry does not always excite me. I don' think I will be reading this anytime soon. Great review btw!

Orpheus and Eurydice are some of my favorite stories from Greek mythology. I'm not sure about the poetry part, but I will check the sample out. Great job with the review.

I enjoyed reading the beautifully executed verses in the sample and enjoyed seeing some verse in French, Spanish and German. As humanities was a favorite subject of mine, I found it delightful reading. Thank you for the excellent review on this book.

What a lovely review! Indeed, for every lover of Greek literature, this book of poems must be enchanting! As for me, I loved most the French poem entitled VII, which varies much from the English translation.
