There is no denying that children need spiritual uplifting in today's society. The Bird Ride provides a way for children to see the world from an adult's eyes at the child's level. Thanks for the review! :tiphat:

The Bird Ride is all about a little boy named Wade receives a surprise visit from a backyard bird, he is taken on an unforgettable flight through the skies above his town. He must first undergo a size adjustment, so as his stature shrinks, he becomes miniaturized enough to fit on the shoulders of the aforementioned bird. Very interesting story

I think this book is sweet and lovely, but children would learn a lot from it at the same time would enjoy it, even if it's only 21 pages long. I think this would make them have a colorful imagination, and this is one of the things that you would always remember as you grow up. Thanks for the review!

Josephe-Anne wrote: 17 May 2021, 22:28 I find it interesting that a children's book would cover spiritual topics usually reserved for teenagers and adults. But it seems to work with this story. I love birds and cute illustrations, so maybe I will have a look at this.

Thank you for another excellent review and for sharing your expertise with us.

A very impressive review for quite a unique sounding book! Cute illustrations are only a source of jealousy for me however I'll still check this out.

I feel like The bird ride has a very complex storyline. Although the book depicts Wade going on an interesting adventure with a bird which is something a child would really love, I feel the experiences that the book shows Wade experiencing feels too complex for children to comprehend. This review is although exceptionally detailed so thanks for the review.

The book seems pretty phylosophical even though it is for kids and it is great that the author managed to convey such a difficult idea to children in order to develop positive attitudes, enhance their self-esteem, social skills, and attention span, and sharpen their focus in school and at home. All of these things are vitally important nowadays. Besides it is good that the book has a question section for parents and teachers. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

It's a lovely cover page, and the word "Gratitude" says it all. Learning children to be kind and uplifting their spirits is an excellent idea. Parents will find the notes useful. Congratulations to the author on BOTD.

A children's book with profound content. It poses the seek for spiritual enlightenment and self-actualization. I find it interesting that it includes a Discussion Questions section and A Note to Parents and Teachers.
