This sounds like quite a unique topic for a children's book. I like that the author can explain spiritual enlightenment to a younger audience through the bird's soaring adventure. Thanks for the detailed review.

I'm so glad that mindfulness is being introduced to kids. It's as if the kids start out the way they should, then become adults and forget everything in our panicked world. Then adults purchase the self-help books to return to mindfulness. I am so glad I read this review and plan to share the book with my granddaughter. Thanks!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting children's story about a boy who takes a unforgettable journey on the back of a bird and learns several important lessons through his experience such as gratitude and conscious awareness. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

Whilst I can’t quite say it’s the type of book I’d personally read, I can see the appeal for younger children. Full page illustrations are getting rarer and rarer so to see them featured is a true testament to this book’s quality I’m sure.

Though used as an idiom, in this book, the author gives Kid rock the privilege of a literal bird's eye view of his world. I wonder how this view would impact on such a young child, and on how children readers would be affected by the lessons they'd learn. All in all, I believe this book would be useful for strengthening children's emotional response and help them see things and others better. Thanks for your amazing review.

'Official Review: The Bird Ride' by Wade W. Bergner is a crystal clear description of the children's story of a little boy and a bird for readers! It lays a solid foundation of the engaging tale in the minds of readers through its comprehensive expression! The way in which the reviewer is able to connect with the story is appreciable for me! I like the advice offered for potential readers in the review! The review has a positive ending!

Such a well-written review! Bravo! Thank you!

Complete with beautiful illustrations, discussion questions, and suggestions for parents and teachers, today's BOTD is a children's book that focuses on the benefits of a positive attitude, awareness of oneself and others, and the importance of self-worth. Sounds like it would be a great addition to any home or elementary classroom library. Thank you again and keep up the amazing work! :-)

This was such a sweet book. I enjoyed the discussion section at the end of the book for parents to read and review with their children.

I’m looking forward to digging into this novel to be with Wade’s journey as he flies and observes the world below him. It is a nice plot and I’m sure there will be a lot of learning to be had from this book. Children’s books are a pleasure to read, regardless of age.

Thanks for your review. I know kids are very smart, but just from the sample and number of words, plus all of the subject matter you mentioned, it does make me think of older kids than 5-8. Perhaps it's like onions and has many layers. I like children's books, so perhaps at a later time I will read it.
