Society is a vast network constructed through the hard work and effort of specific individuals. Have you ever thought of what it would be without these sacrifices? Or if the results were worth the trouble? This book reflects an image of the history of New York starting from around the early 17th century. Several individuals throughout history have all contributed their effort, some positive and some negative, into the development of their society.

Fascinating New Yorkers by Clifford Browder is an engaging non-fiction book. Each chapter discusses the origin of certain famous past figures, their motivation, and their quota of contribution to New York City. The nation's influential individuals are the primary focus of this book. The writer is able to justify his reasoning by discussing the backgrounds of their actions and how they affected their society.

This book has a few positive aspects. There were only a few errors in this book, which is proof that a lot of effort was put into ensuring that this book was professionally edited. There were only a few minor mistakes in spelling and punctuation. The language of the book is not complex, and it is easy to understand. The book creates insights into American history, prompting readers to do more research.

The author can successfully blend the history of each mentioned individual to see how their actions affected one another. The book is of moderate length because no aspect is prolonged to make the book longer. There are moral lessons embedded in the pages of this book to enable readers to learn from the actions and mistakes of its characters. The book was terrific, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. It will keep any reader yearning for more. Also, I did not get bored at any point while reading this book.

I only discovered one negative part in this book. This refers to the chapter arraignment. This book has no chapter 24, and Chapter 26 is repeated twice. These errors could confuse any future reader. The fact that there were no other errors added to the general appeal of the book.

The lack of any significant mistakes made the reading of this book a captivating and refreshing experience. As a result of the reasons stated above, I rate this book four out of four, and I feel any potential reader would agree with my decision. This rating is because it was an intriguing, stimulating and exciting experience that taught me a lot, and it would qualify for a good read. I recommend this book to lovers of non-fiction books with interests in American history, crime, and members of the gay community.

New York has been one of those old nations that carry their names till today, and majorly, to those who made great contribution in building it.
Thanks for the good review.
