Inca is a Siberian cat who lives with her family and her human mother, Missy. She has a detective firm and has successfully solved numerous cases. She is a big fan of going on adventures. Missy takes the whole family on her overseas visits when she has to go on business trips. This time Missy has to take a trip to Korea because of a cooking competition. Inca, Fromage, Cara, and Charlotte, are all ecstatic and have their passports ready for the trip.

Inca learns more about Korea while Missy prepares for the competition. The competition is being hosted to improve relations between North and South Korea. Inca discovers that their host has a sister who has been imprisoned in North Korea with their cat. It is a tragic story that motivates Inca to embark on a daring rescue mission. Will Inca and her family be able to save the two without further straining relations between the North and South?

Cat Detectives in the Korean Peninsula by R.F. Kristi is a book that teaches young readers a lot. It is both informative and exciting. I like that it can be read as a standalone, although it is the eighth book in the Inca Cat Detective series. The characters are well developed, and one grows to like them. Don't be surprised if you want to read all the other books after you finish this one. It is a book that parents will enjoy reading to their children.

There was nothing about this book that I didn't like. It even has a family tree that assists new readers in getting to know the characters. The plot is simple and easy to follow. It allows parents to teach their children about Korea's history as well as cultural differences. The story teaches the value of friendship and the importance of family. The illustrations were also appealing to me. They are simple, but they add an undeniable touch of cuteness.

I didn't find any errors. The book has been professionally edited. I have no reason to deduct any points, so I am giving the book a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. Even though there are some difficult words, I believe it will teach children how to use a dictionary. The book will appeal to children between the ages of four and ten years old. I also recommend it to parents who enjoy reading aloud to their little ones.

I read one of the books in the series and found it interesting. Inca is a brilliant detective. She is very nosy, though. I enjoyed reading your review.
Good one.
