Alcoholic husbands? It seems that Annie has been attracting the wrong men. Or was it all destiny? The title is definitely catchy, and the cover is mystifying. Since the book is free, I think I'll give it a look-see.

This is really important in an age where many blame themselves for suffering in the hands of their abusers, choosing to remain silent and endure mistreatment. Thanks for the review.

The title is intriguing and the review is excellent. I would however skip this one. But it sounds like a suitable read for those who are in some kind of marital disintegration. Congratulations on BOTD.

Blame, shame, resentment, worry, and hopelessness often accompany spouses who do their best to navigate difficult marriages, while also suffering in silence. I commend any author who is able to share such a personal story. Thank you for your review!

This is an inspirational educational non-fiction memoir highlighting marriage, challenges, addiction, alcoholism, personal transformation, and spirituality. The book is temporarily free on Amazon Kindle and has a well-written OnlineBookClub review. Congrats on the BOTD selection.

I Did Not Kill my Husband: But I Almost Killed myself by A. M. Parker is an interesting memoir on suicide prevention and emotional darkness. Abuse and traumatizing events, the children will forever carry these events with them. The repetitive behavior of an alcoholic could be destructive. The author did her best in telling the dreadful story and need big applause. The review is well-written.

Your review is well-reasoned. I can see the difficulty in the physical presentation of the story and the empathy with the subject matter. I would have the same dilemma. Still, I’d be loath to dismiss a book with powerful issues such as this in spite of its shortcomings: ‘the latter is a piece of work’ :-)

Wow. This review is so detailed. I really want to try this book out. Alcoholism is a sad and dangerous thing. I want to know how it all ends for her.

A book that's almost 100% relatable. The language is familiar and communicates emotions. Thus is some great piece here. Thank you for your review.

Thank you for the fascinating review. The title brought me here, but your review made it riveting.

It makes me want to add this book to my reading list.

Annie's story is somehow familiar, and I would love to know how it ended.

Marriage is a fascinating topic that is often overlooked and from the sound of this review, the author explored it in an interesting manner.

I am especially fond of authors who successfully play with words, especially if they have a unique signature style. This author sounds like she might fall into this category. In addition, the topic of this book is important and the introduced problem is unfortunately very common. So many people suffer in unhealthy relationships. If reading this book helps someone, it was truly worth writing.

Thanks for well-written review.

Memoirs are not my cup of tea but I've read the review and the book seems interesting and heartwarming. The book dwells on a pretty serious topic that, unfortunately, few people want to address in order to find the solution to this problem. It is also good that the events in the book are unpredictable and keeping the reader on edge "anticipating the worst or the best to come". I'm sure the book will find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!
