Revelations in the Bible

Post by Bertha Jackson »

The revelations from the Bible helped me understand the demons better. Did they have an impact on your understanding of them?

Unfortunately, there is no impact for me because I am much more understanding about demons from another novel, not Bible.

I am not very familiar with the Bible, so the inclusin of the Revelations did not seem especially significant or helpful to me.

My husband is a pastor, so it is from him more than anything that I understand demons. I have not read Revelations for years, so my memory of it is hazy.

Although I have heard about demons through the church for most of my life, I would have to say yes, the revelations in this book from the Bible helped me understand the demons more. I doubt I will ever totally understand about demons, nor do I want to!

As much as I understand the Bible well, it didn't have anything to do with my comprehension of the concept of demons. The illustrations in the novel were enough for me.

I don't think I can ever understand demons and the way they operate, to be honest. So no, I believe the revelations didn't really have an impact on my understanding of their ways.

I have been reading the Revelations since I was very little and they were read to me before I could do it myself and they are VERY hard to understand. I really don’t think that any rational person can get a real understanding of demons and what they represent. Even though demons and what they do are very real I think that understanding them is beyond me so, no, the excerpts didn’t really help in that way although I think that they added to the story.

The book had too many information about the way demons operate for me to be seeking more clarification from the Bible. So no, the Bible didn't affect my understanding of the demons.

Well, not quite! The Bible did not affect my understanding of demons. The book gives a lot of information about demons, but I don't think it can change your thinking.

Well, not quite. Inasmuch as I thought it would, it didn't. I never believe demons are real! The revelation was more of a fiction than reality.

Unfortunately, no. I haven't read the Bible and whatever I know about demons and angles, good or evil are from movies, tv-series, and books.

I did come across the Bible during my Hons but to be honest, I'm still very far away to know something about the same that much. So till now, my knowledge regarding the same is only limited to what I watch in movies or so. But I would like to explore more from the Bible one day.

The novel depicted the demons well from my perspective, though the bible revelations did give room for further understanding.

It was definitely a nice touch. It would work for some readers but it didn't do much for me. I already understand the concept of demons. However, I think it would be useful for some readers.
