This sounds interesting though I don't know much Hemingway. Hoping to read this and more of Hemingway's. Great review 👍

The writer managed to make this book sound authentic after creating a fiction relationship between father and daughter. Amazing review.

A fiction story about a fiction daughter of an authentic writer at first sounded a bit odd to me. Now I become curious about the writer, Hemingway. I should search of him more.
Thank you for your helpful and honest review!

What an intriguing premise, for the author to create a character that never existed but do it so well. I like how the reviewer stated that "The reader abandons reality as he knows it and fully adopts Hemingway's life, as recreated by the author." This is the epitome of great writing. Great review!

I am somewhat divided about reading this book. I have read a lot of and about Hemingway's life and the intriguing books about his various wives. I couldn't get a good feel for how the imaginary character of the daughter was developed from this review. Of how she and "Papa" interacted, which wife was the mother, at what stage of Hemingway's life she was born... so I suppose I will read to see how I like it, and hope the reviewer's observation that he was captured until the very end will bear out.
