Nothing is more consequential than the decision to disobey the Lord. Who told you that you were naked by William Combs is a Christian faith book that dives into the story of the first two people Adam and Eve, and how their encounter with the serpent changed humanity forever. It explores Adam and Eve's time in the garden of Eden with God and the devastating impact their disobedience has caused mankind. It gives the readers a complete comprehension of the depth and breadth of the Vulnerability of the first family after they ate from the tree that possesses the knowledge of good and evil. The reexamination of the birth of sin was thoroughly explored by the author as he gives his insight and how the Lord has attempted to redeemed us from sin. The author also dives into the story of descendants of Adam and Eve who disobey the Lord and the repercussions of their actions.

The book is a faith-based book. It is a book full of wise sayings. It enlightens us and gives us insight about the relationship between conviction and condemnation. The author also gives us a fascinating account of how mankind has categorized sins believing that the lesser the sin, the lesser the consequences. The book further challenges our understanding of the first sin by viewing it as an alienation rather than a rebellion. I also love how the author mastered the act of storytelling and uses scripture references throughout the book to underscore the actual message. The book also contains great examples of how the author's life was transformed by direct and indirect communication with the Lord.

Honestly, I really love the way the author uses the literature of the Bible to present his theories throughout the book. He also used simple words which are conspicuous and captivating stories to emphasize his message to the readers. The book didn't contain any spelling, typos, or grammatical errors. There was no use of vulgar language throughout the book. The book was well written and professionally edited.

In spite of the author giving us very little in the form of instantiation for his theory that wasn't quite convincing; but it is not going to prevent me from giving this book a 4 out of 4 star. I enjoyed reading every portion of this book because it deepens my level of understanding as a Christian of how sin enter the world.

The ideal audience for this book is the Christian community. It is also for people who are craving for a deeper understanding of how sin came into the world.
