Did enjoy reading the sample pages, an interesting story. Normally I won't be reading historical romance books. Will be reading this one. Thank you for the lovely review.

I've read several novels but, I'm pleased to say that Londyn Skye did a great job on this novel. She tailored so many scenes, writing styles and imaginative graphical contents that will keep you glued to every word till you finish the novel.

A lovely write-up I must attest.

You explained it well with some writting errors in second sentence, and some sentence meaning in the first sentence second passage. Speaking about book it seems interesting and i would probably read her.

I agree, this was an amazingly written book. I was truly moved by Lily and her dreams; however, the inconsistencies of accents did throw me off. I tried to justify it by saying that they switched accents during high emotional periods; however, that wasn't always the case.

I have always been a fan of romance, be it adventure romance or historical romance, but I am sure I would particularly love this book. Although I just placed an order for it, I can not wait to read it. Thanks for the review.

I appreciate the fact that Lily is an easy character to fall in love with and so full of life. I also like the fact that the story was written in the first perspective too. As a fan of historical fiction, and non-fiction reads, I can't wait to start reading this novel by Londyn Skye. Thanks for the lovely review.

I found the sample very interesting, though the language was a bit difficult for me to understand , not being a native speaker. The novel starts like a fine romance, well- written and with a complex plot.

Your review has given me a good idea as to what I can expect from reading Londyn Skye's The Prodigy Slave, so I will not be surprised or intimidated by its intensity.

The accent or dialect shifting that you mention probably won't offend me very much. I've heard everyone from politicians to schoolteachers shift quickly from folksiness to sophistication and back again. It seems to be part of human nature.

Your review has awakened my curiosity as to how a young slave girl secretly learns to play the piano, and how she keeps her playing secret. I would expect piano music to reverberate throughout an old, wooden building, and everyone would hear. So how did she do it? I'll have to look in the book, obviously, for the answer. Thank you for helping me decide to read this book!

Lily is a very interesting character to read about and I would love to know how her journey ended. The book cover is so beautifully done and already sparked my interested before reading the review.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting romance novel about Lily, a young woman who was sold into slavery, but found a propensity for playing the piano. Her close friend who happens to be her "master's" son threatens her after he learns of her piano skills. Will these two fall in love or will their status affect their romance. While I am not a fan of romance novels, there are likely readers who will want to give this book a second look. Well done.

Very informative review! I look forward to reading this book. Not usually interested in romance novels, this one I think I will give a read as it seems like a historical fiction novel rather than the romance being the main focus. Thank you for the fantastic review!
